CMT is snatching up more rednecks than a flying saucer!
The former Country Music Television has had great success with its original reality programs Redneck Island, Bayou Billionaires, and My Big Redneck Vacation, and it’s going back to the fishing hole well for its next big hit.
The first will be Redneck Intervention, in which former rednecks are confronted by their old friends who want them to return to the country lifestyle.
Next up is Chainsaw Gang, which will follow a team of the country’s top chainsaw artists.
Next year and beyond, CMT is developing even more originals, such as Full Metal Racket, Rock Raiders, and the Blue Collar Comedian-starring Bounty Hunters.
No word yet on whether we’ll be seeing America’s Next Top Redneck or So You Think You Can Fish.
You know, we were kidding, but those actually don’t sound half bad…
