It’s a duet of duos!
We’re sure The Chainsmokers weren’t an act a lot of country fans expected to see at the CMT Music Awards, but pairing them with Florida Georgia Line actually makes a kind of sense.
Their collab Last Day Alive may have apocalyptic lyrics, but the tone is decidedly mellow. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised to hear it in a trailer for a big screen adaptation of a YA book.
