It’s such a shame to see someone lose their to an addiction and it looks like that is exactly what happened to Whitney Houston.
The cause of death was determined to be “drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use” and — despite earlier claims of no drugs in the hotel room — the cops have announced that they found “white, powdery remnants” at the scene.
Authorities won’t say how much they recovered, but the substance was tested and confirmed to be cocaine. For now, it looks like they are just about finished with the investigation, but who knows what other details will eventually come out.
It’s sad that Whitney’s demons got the best of her, but all we can do is remember the music icon for all the wonderful things she did during her lifetime.
