Coldplay In The Clear, Lawsuit Dismissed

Earlier this year, the boys of Coldplay found themselves in a sticky situation when guitarist Joe Satriani accused Chris Martin and the band of plagiarizing his song and creating Viva La Vida.

Yesterday, victory was sweet and perhaps costly for Chris and Co. as a judge announced the lawsuit was dismissed “upon stipulation”, which suggests that they settled the matter out-of-court.

How much did that guy’s silence cost you, Chris?

A pretty penny, we imagine.
