This is what you consider one of those mistakes that you can look back on and laugh at.
Comedian Ralphie May had a run in with the police of Guam in the most unexpected way.
While waiting for his luggage in an airport during a leg of his comedy tour, Ralphie decided to go up to a shepherd dog mix and pet it. The dog immediately sat down, staying by him. Soon another dog came over and sat down as well.
Thinking the animals somehow sensed he was a dog person, Ralphie kept petting the dogs. Turns out they were trained drug-sniffing dogs and it is part of their training to sit down next to someone who is carrying. Whoops.
Ralphie was soon nabbed by police and after a discussion released, having to pay a fine. He had accidently packed his medical marijuana on him and the police understood it was an accident since someone trying to sneak drugs into Guam would not have walked up to the dogs and begun petting them. DUH.
Oh Ralphie – you lucked out. Good thing you you got detained in the country only received a slap on the wrist. Lets see how you write this into your routine!
