Constance Wu has had a s**tty couple of weeks!
According to Page Six on Monday, the Crazy Rich Asians star’s pet bunny allegedly crapped all over a fancy Manhattan penthouse!
The Fresh Of The Boat actress reportedly rented a $6.5 million Chelsea apartment for a few months while she filmed Hustlers with Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B.

However, not only did the thespian allegedly bring her rabbit without permission, she allowed the animal to roam wild — where it left “surprises” everywhere!
Reportedly, after the housekeeper complained, Wu was given several warnings. But, according to sources, she ignored them all, forcing the owner to call her management, and to threaten eviction!
The insider revealed:
“Constance’s bunny totally destroyed the place, there was poop and pee everywhere, and the actress had done nothing to clean it up. The animal went all over the entranceway, the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom.”
A second source confirmed:
“The place totally stank, it was disgusting, there were little pellets of poo everywhere, and Constance seemed oblivious to it. She seems to sleep with the bunny, and there was even poop in the bed.”
However, a separate source close to the situation said Wu DID tell the owner she was bringing her pet before arriving, and that she was NOT asked to leave.
“The owner of the property was told in advance before Constance arrived that she had a pet rabbit, and the rabbit pen arrived before they did. Constance was not asked to leave the apartment and she actually stayed longer than intended. Her stay was extended for a few weeks, so they couldn’t have had a problem with her or her pet.”
Speaking of Hustlers, an insider said Constance is a nightmare behind the scenes, revealing:
“[Wu] is a pain in the f**king ass. She just won’t agree to do anything. She refuses to do interviews, she won’t have visitors on her sets. It’s like a cliché. She is very talented — but all signs are pointing to a difficult diva.”
As we reported, Wu raised eyebrows when she wrote on social media that she was “upset” by news that her television show got renewed for a sixth season. She commented on Instagram:
“Dislike.”
She also wrote on Twitter:
“So upset right now that I’m literally crying. Ugh. F**k
F**king hell.”
Additionally, when a fan wrote to her, “Congrats on you renewal! Great news :),” she replied, “No it’s not.”
The 37-year-old penned on social media:
“I love FOTB. I was temporarily upset yesterday not bc I hate the show but bc its renewal meant I had to give up another project that I was really passionate about. So my dismayed social media replies were more about that other project and not about FOTB… FOTB is a great show that I’m proud of and that I enjoy. I’ve gotten to fully explore my character and I know her like the back of my hand. So playing Jessica fun and easy and pleasant. I get to work with a kind and pleasant cast/crew. Which makes it all quite enjoyable — so obviously I don’t dislike doing a show that is fun and easy and pleasant… But in general, I’ve always sought artistic challenge over comfort and ease. I was disappointed in not being able to do that other project — because that other project would have challenged me as an artist — that other project would have been really hard and not easy or pleasant at all.”
Despite all of the drama, ABC Entertainment President Karey Burke said the network has no plans to recast Wu’s character:
“No, there has been no thoughts on recasting Constance. We love what she does on the show and we love the show… I did actually know that Constance had another opportunity that, had Fresh Off the Boat not gone forward, she would have pursued. But we never really considered not bringing back Fresh Off the Boat. The show is just too strong and we love it… I’m going to choose to believe Constance’s most recent communication about the show — that she is happy to return. The cast and crew is happy to have her back and we’re thrilled to keep her with the show.”
