We’re not buying it!
The Itawamba County School District is denying the American Civil Liberties Union’s claims on Constance McMillen‘s behalf that they set her up to attend a “sham prom” at the country club with a few other students while the rest of the student body attended a prom at the nearby community center.
The ACLU alleged that the school district superintendent Teresa McNeece and attorney Michele Floyd ran a meeting with parent organizers to hold separate proms.
Disgusting!
While the district admitted some of the photographs were from an event that night at the Evergreen Community Center, other photos they had in their case were of students at a function in Memphis, Tennessee.
Constance has since transferred schools and will graduate on June 2.
Good for you, girlfriend!
