Coronavirus Quarantine Chronicles: Here's Everything Coming To Disney+ In April!

Onward is among the new movies and shows set to stream on Disney+ in April!

As the coronavirus pandemic continuesDisney+ continues to put itself up against fellow streaming services like Netflix and Hulu with an increasingly deep and varied amount of content available to watch while you’re stuck at home.

In fact, the streaming service just announced several dozen new titles will be added throughout the month of April, including quite a few movies, documentaries, and series right at the start of the month! So for those of us stuck at home looking for something to watch… fear not, because there’s a LOT coming in just a few days!

One of the biggest additions for the month here is OnwardPixar‘s new animated feature that first hit theaters in early March. With self-isolation and social distancing in place, Disney decided to stream it earlier than expected, and it’ll be available on the platform for all users on the 3rd of the month. Yay!

Other upcoming additions to the streaming service include a curated collection of documentaries from National Geographic to celebrate Earth Month, like African Cats and Sea of Hope: America’s Underwater Treasures, among other titles. Beloved films like Doctor Dolittle and National Treasure are also on the list to stream this month.

Demi Lovato fans can take solace in knowing Sonny With A Chance is one of the Disney Channel original series set to open on the platform, as well. And, for those of us who love nostalgia (and Danny Tanner, TBH), a bunch of old seasons of America’s Funniest Home Videos are set to be made available in Disney’s streaming hub there as well.

And that only scratches the surface, seriously! There is SO much more out there to be streamed — the list for the month of April is HUGE! Ch-ch-check it out (below):
