Kim Kardashian wasn’t the only one to get married this weekend!
Country singer Chely Wright married her partner Lauren Blitzer in a family member’s home in Connecticut on Saturday.
Both of the blushing brides wore white wedding gowns, but nixed the idea of wearing veils because “we like our hair too much!” according to Chely.
The couple served BBQ from New York’s Blue Smoke, despite the fact that Chely doesn’t eat meat. She later said, “Lauren’s idea – not my influence!”
They exchanged vows in front of both a reverend and a rabbi, as well as their 200-plus guests.
Speaking about Lauren, Chely said:
“The freedom of being out and open about who I am allowed me to find and fall in love with Lauren ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ the most amazing woman I’ve ever known.”
So fantastic. We are absolutely thrilled for the two of you. Congrats!
