Well, we’re at least happy to see that they’re standing united in this!
We reported earlier in the week that David Arquette filed for a divorce from his estranged wife, Courteney Cox, and it now appears that the actress did exactly the same thing on the very same day!
Both parties cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause behind the deterioration of their marriage, and each are seeking legal and physical custody of their daughter Coco!
And not surprisingly at all, Courteney is asking to have Arquette removed from her last name.
Again, as sad as it is to see them end everything, we’re at least comforted to know that they’re going above and beyond to stand united as parents for their daughter, and keep her best interest in the forefront through this entire situation.
