This is so scary!
A crazy guy decided that it was a good idea to start breaking windows with a crowbar at a Carl’s Jr.
Cops disagreed. When they arrived on the scene, the suspect was still inside the restaurant.
That’s when things get ugly: The suspect would not drop his weapon, and an attempt to taser him failed (we assume he was on drugs or something).
He then makes the worst decision — he starts to swing the crowbar at the cops.
Now, we in no way condone extreme violence, but what this guy did was an extreme act of aggression. Those acts are taken very seriously by police officers, and they are required to use deadly force. Some people are saying that they should’ve shot him in the leg or something, but that’s against protocol!
The safest way to engage is to aim for center mass, so chances of missing go down, and always shoot to kill.
This is a prime example of it, too, as we see that the suspect is unfazed by getting a taser to the FACE. A round to the leg wouldn’t have stopped him from seriously hurting one of the officers.
We do have a problem with the guys’ commentary who are shooting the video. Pretty disrespectful.
The man is, in fact, killed — which is a terrible outcome.
The video above is raw footage of the incident, including the shooting. The suspect falls out of sight, so it isn’t staggeringly graphic, but it IS still disturbing.
