As we reported yesterday, Keith Olbermann filed an ENORMOUS $70 million lawsuit against Current TV for his “early dismissal.”
Now, the network who was responsible for his firing is speaking out, calling the lawsuit “false and malicious!”
According to Current TV, Olbermann was rightly fired, claiming he was guilty of:
“serial, material breaches of his contract, including the failure to show up at work, sabotaging the network and attacking Current and its executives.”
Hmm…Current TV definitely has a point there. ANYONE would be fired for not showing up, etc…Keith is NO exception!
The network came back again at Keith, saying:
“We hope Mr. Olbermann understands that when it comes to the legal process, he is actually required to show up.”
…and so the drama continues.
