Wow, nobody really likes each other over there! It’s no wonder Olbermann got fired — both sides are being nasty, and Al Gore was in the position to fire!
We first brought you the news of the firing, along with Current‘s reason of a lack of “values of respect, openness, collegiality and loyalty” as the reasons.
And then Olberman fired back with a long-winded rant, which you can read here, which ended up saying he was going to sue them all.
Now we’re hearing more as to why he was let go:
‘Management claimed that the former MSNBC host did not fulfill his duties with press and marketing events and missed 19 days of work in January and February.’
We’d say missing obligations and 19 days of work is absolutely grounds to fire you!
Wonder how that’ll go down in court!
