Grisly New Details In Celeste Rivas' Cause Of Death Revealed After D4vd's Arrest

We’re learning way more details about Celeste Rivas‘ gruesome death.

A Los Angeles medical examiner has determined D4vd‘s 14-year-old girlfriend’s death was a homicide. As Perezcious readers know, the 21-year-old has been charged with one count each of murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14, and unlawful mutilation of human remains, to which he has pleaded not guilty. Based on all the details we’ve already heard, we know this was a deeply disturbing and dark death, but these new insights will make your stomach churn even more.

According to an autopsy report obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, a medical examiner determined she was killed by multiple penetrating injuries with unspecified objects:

“[There are] 2 penetrating wounds of the torso with smooth edges that may represent sharp force injuries. The wound — [3/4 inch length and 1.5 inches deep] — on the upper abdomen penetrates the liver and the wound on the left chest — [9/16 inch length and 2 inches deep] penetrates one of the left intercostal spaces, with disruption of the adjacent ribs’ cortical surfaces.”

Hmm. It’s interesting that they say the wounds “may represent sharp force injuries.” We have a feeling D4vd’s legal team will be all over that wording in court!

The examiner also noted that her dismembered body was badly decomposed by the time it was discovered in the musician’s car, something cops previously said would make determining a cause and manner of death much more difficult. They also note her head was “partially skeletonized with an absent left eye.” Awful.

Furthermore, the autopsy states that there’s a “presumptive positive” for methamphetamine and MDMA — but a different screening’s results were inconclusive on methamphetamine, and MDMA was not detected. It was confirmed that the teen had alcohol in her system, but it did not contribute to her death.
