Dakota Mortensen made sure to tell ABC all about Taylor Frankie Paul‘s red flags!
Following reports about the alleged domestic dispute between the pair, two sources from Taylor’s circle claimed to TMZ on Wednesday that he spoke to Bachelorette producers before she started filming. Why? The insiders alleged that Dakota warned them about her past abusive behavior. As you know, she was arrested for domestic violence following an altercation with him in 2023. This was after her massive swinging scandal.

Despite her history, production moved forward with her anyway. We heard before that Bachelorette producers wanted Taylor for ratings, and they cut corners on vetting. They’re desperate to revive the franchise, so it doesn’t surprise us that they brushed aside Dakota’s warnings if the report is true. Or that they wanted him to be a part of the show!
Producers reportedly wanted Dakota to appear on her season, but he ended up not filming. In fact, according to TMZ, Dakota doesn’t think they can film The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives together. And sources said he previously expressed concerns about their relationship to production.
Honestly, we also can’t see a world in which Taylor and Dakota film Mormon Wives together again — or even for them to be on the show moving forward. Too much has allegedly happened at this point. But we’ll see about their future on the series.
