Well deserved!
Dame Julie Andrews will receive the lifetime achievement award at this year’s Grammy Awards.
She previously won a Grammy in 1964 for best recording for children for her role in Mary Poppins.
So sweet!
Dolly Parton and The Ramones will also be honored at the ceremony.
President of The Recording Academy, Neil Portnow, says:
“These influential performers and brilliant innovators have been of great inspiration to our culture and industry. Their legendary work has left a lasting impression and will continue to influence generations to come”
With a career spanning over 60 years, we couldn’t think of a better recipient of the awards. Congratulations to Miz Andrews!
