This season of Dance Moms has definitely been an emotional roller coaster.
But perhaps the most dramatic thing about the show this year happened off camera.
After dis-inviting show-regular Kelly Hyland and her daughters Paige and Brooke early on in season four, Abby Lee Miller is now being sued by 13-year-old Paige for emotional and physical battery.
While Abby does have a history of being a little too harsh with her girls, we really doubt that she’s ever been physically violent towards them. Especially since the mothers choose for their daughters to take classes with the notorious choreographer and even sit in a sky box above the studio to see what goes on.
And this isn’t the first time that Kelly and Miss Abby have gotten into legal disputes, either. Following the initial firing back in February, both women sued each other; one for abuse and the other for assault.

We think this is just a case of Reality TV scripted drama going too far and becoming real life hatred, but we also think they should just absolve the situation and leave one another alone for good.
Now, with that said, we feel implored to take this opportunity to call Abby out for her treatment of Chloe on the show’s season finale this past Tuesday. We get that you want to remove her from the elite team, but don’t be so mean to a 13-year-old. Especially when she places higher than all of your other girls at Nationals… just sayin’!
Filming for season five of Lifetime‘s hit docu-series is actually scheduled to start tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see if this new legal issue effects Dance Moms‘ shooting schedule.
And don’t forget to catch the reunion special this Tuesday at 9/8c on Lifetime!
P.S. Please don’t cut Kamryn, she’s totally our fav at the moment!!!
