The people behind the popular Lifetime show Dance Moms is out for blood again with a new spin-off called Ice Moms.
The producers are already developing another spin-off Dance Moms: Miami, but this time they’re hitting up a whole new genre: ice skating.
The show will revolved around figure skating coaches Laurie Vigilante and Adam Schmidt who periodically get into fights with the parents of the students as they’re pushed to become champions.
Hmm, sound familiar?
Lifetime Networks VP Exec of Programming Rob Sharenow confirmed the news, saying:
“Now, we├óΓé¼Γäóre bringing the format to the intensely competitive world of figure skating and revealing the explosive dynamic between the kids, parents and coaches who all want to be the best. We├óΓé¼Γäóll show all the blood, sweat and tears it takes to be a champion on ice.”
Blood, sweat and tears is right! Have you seen the fights these moms get into on Dance Moms?? They’re ruthless! And obvsies, we’re going to be watching…
