Fans of Dancing With the Stars can expect some changes in the upcoming season that may or may not excite and delight them. Executive Producer Conrad Green had much to dish about the upcoming season, such as format changes, new dance partners, and perhaps Paula Abdul!
For starters, there will be an influx in celebs this season – with the couple count up to 16.
Conrad says: “This is going to be our biggest-ever cast. We are going to start big, and then about halfway through, we are going to do three double eliminations back-to-back. The middle of the season is going to be brutal when half of our cast goes in three weeks.”
Having more celebs means having more professionals to teach them so Conrad reveals some old favorites maybe returning to sweep the stars across the floor.
And there is our beloved Abdrool. What say you Conrad about adding her as a judge?
That’s a big fat no! But, they would like her to compete: “She has never been trained in ballroom and Latin, so that is a possibility as well. It is for Paula to work out. At the moment, the world is her oyster. Everyone wants her. At our show, we are great fans of Paula.”
But one thing still being kept under wraps is the Z-List celebrities who will be getting twirled around for a career boast. That info will have to wait until August 17th, when the cast is officially announced on Good Morning America.
