Candace Cameron Bure might be competing on Dancing With The Stars, but she wants the world to know that she’s a mom first and foremost!
Right off the bat, the Full House starlet let her partner Mark Ballas know that she would be keeping things modest and would NOT be wearing any skimpy costumes this season (you can see her debut DWTS performance HERE), and it sounds like she’s sticking to her guns!
Candace explained her decision, saying:
“I won’t be the sexiest one out there. I am a mom and I want to be a good role model for my children and my husband. But I think for each dance we’ll wear what reflects the dance but in the most classy way possible.”
Hey, who says classy can’t be sexy?!?
Candace also said in addition to being a role model for her kiddies, she’s hoping to represent for all of the other mothers out there this season! She says:
“I want to represent all the moms out there and inspire them and encourage them. I’m just a woman, I’m not any different than all the moms out there — my priority is my family, my husband, my kids and so this for me is truly just a joy. It’s something I’ve never done and to get the opportunity to do this is fantastic. I’m just going to enjoy every moment. We’re working hard of course, but I’m thrilled to just be able to work hard and do this.”
She’s doing a pretty good job so far!
In the very first week, Candace already proved that she doesn’t need a skimpy outfit to pull off an amazing routine as she earned the second highest score of the night for her contemporary dance!
Way to represent, momma!
