First Gay Couple Married At West Point Military Academy Were Victims Of An Alleged Hate Crime -- But The Attacker Wasn't Expecting This Ending!

Daniel Lennox-Choate and his husband, Larry Lennox-Choate III — both alumni of West Point Military Academy — were in Soho shopping at a bodega when all of a sudden a man starting yelling obscenities towards them and then hit Daniel in the face!
Larry, being quick on his feet, came to his husband’s defense and beat the attacker to the ground and left him “covered in his own blood with his tail between his legs!”

The hate crimes division of the NYPD were called but no arrests have been made and the investigation is currently ongoing.
Larry did take to Facebook though to recount the incident and share his thoughts on what happened saying:

The two men both attended West Point Military Academy — Larry in the class of 2009 and Daniel in the class of 2007, and they were actually the first two men married at the U.S. Military Academy’s Cadet Chapel in front of about 20 guests in November 2013.
We completely agree with Larry that we’re afraid next time it could be a couple who didn’t take boxing lessons and were able to stand up for themselves, but we are very thankful that in this case, one hateful, terrible person was taught a lesson!
