Daniel Radcliffe to the rescue!
It’s just been revealed he actor was one of a group of people who came to the aid of a tourist who was slashed in the face after being mugged in London on Friday.
According to the Evening Standard, the Harry Potter star was at the scene when the unnamed victim’s Louis Vuitton bag was stolen by two men on a moped. The man’s face was supposedly cut with a knife!

An official statement by police was made:
“The victim ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ a man aged in his 50s ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ was walking in the road when two people riding a moped snatched his bag before riding off. The victim suffered a cut to the face during the incident. Officers from Kensington and Chelsea investigate. No arrests were made and enquiries continue.”
Former police officer David Videcette was also at the scene, and was surprised to see Daniel coming to the tourist’s side:
“It was a bit of the surreal moment, I said ├óΓé¼╦£you’re Daniel Radcliffe’ and he replied ├óΓé¼╦£I am.'”
The 27-year-old’s rep confirmed the star was there, but wouldn’t elaborate any further considering “it’s a police matter.”
Well, we’re happy to believe hear Daniel rushed to a stranger’s side.
