As Simon Cowell meets with producers to discuss the happenings with The X Factor, rumors are swirling that the topic of Dannii Minogue‘s return will be discussed.
It’s been said that producers are planning to drop the currently pregnant Dannii from the panel! One even claimed that it was “highly unlikely” she will return, but the show’s bosses all know that they will receive public backlash if they do not hire her back.
A source claims:
“Simon and his team are very wary of getting into the sort of problems the BBC has had with its female stars over age and so on/ For that reason, the best option is being seen as reverting to the three judges [Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole] this year. That means the seat is open to Dannii to return at a future date, although it is unlikely.”
Minogue already said that she will not be attending The X Factor auditions, but would still like to be part of the show.
“There is a meeting going on but it is too early to comment on what is being decided,” said an ITV spokesperson.
We love Dannii, but if Simon needs a replacement, we know just the guy!
