This is about to get a little spoilery if you haven’t read the books, so if you don’t want to know what happens in the end of Deathly Hallows, go away.
Daniel Radcliffe was recently interviewed about the progression of the final installments of the Harry Potter franchise. One specific question the interviewer had was about the books final scene, the epilogue, in which time shoots forward and readers learn what happens to Harry, Hermione, and Ron twenty years in the future.
The director had once said that he might use older actors to fill the roles, but since The Curious Case of Benjamin Button opened up a whole new realm of special effects, they decided to try the method on DanRad and the gang. Dan has high hopes that this is the direction the director will take with the final scene: “We have done a few tests, and it does look really, really rather good,”
That sounds fantastic! We can’t wait to see it!
Dan says they have yet to film the scene as the director is hoping to film that as that last, giving the production a “poignant” end.
