The former soccer star admitted he loves publicly making his oldest son Brooklyn, 16, cringe. On Wednesday morning, the 40-year-old heartthrob held back laughter as he shared one of his favorite memories with Good Morning Britain:

“So I dropped him around the corner, as he was walking into his school, I opened the window and shouted, ‘I love you’ to him. It didn’t go down very well but it made him smile a couple of days later.”

To top it off, in an interview on the Late Late Show with James Corden, Victoria Beckham‘s other half admitted to sitting five tables back from Brooklyn on his very first date!
