Fans Left In Tears After First Performance Of David Bowie's Musical Since His Death -- Find Out How Much Lazarus Tickets Are Going For Now!

Through his art, David Bowie continues to live on.
A Tuesday night performance of the Thin White Duke’s psychedelic musical Lazarus turned into a memorial for the late singer, who died at 69 after an 18-month long battle with cancer.
In the first performance since the music legend’s death on Monday, the show left many audience members in tears at the New York Theatre Workshop in New York City’s East Village.
No changes were made to the show to acknowledge Bowie’s death; however, a video screen in the lobby showed a photo of the singer with the words: “In Memoriam, 1947-2016.”

The musical, which stars Dexter’s Michael C Hall and HIMYM mother Cristin Milioti, has been a smash hit since previews started back in November.
Bowie wrote the musical with playwright Enda Walsh to serve as a sequel to the the 1976 film The Man Who Fell to Earth — which Bowie starred in — following a millionaire alien who has lost the will to live.
The rock icon’s death has only made ticket sales spike — a single matinee seat on Tuesday reportedly sold for $1,900 on StubHub!
It’s great to see Bowie’s legacy helping fans process his death at this trying time.
