Congrats are in order for David Hasselhoff!
The 63-year-old actor is engaged to his longtime girlfriend Hayley Roberts after five years of dating. How exciting!
According to Hello magazine, the former Baywatch star popped the question during a romantic beach-side picnic in Malibu.
The 36-year-old blonde bombshell said of the big surprise:
“We were both in tears ├óΓé¼┬ª I genuinely had no idea he was going to do that. I’m still overwhelmed.”

Hasselhoff gushed that he can’t live without his bride-to-be:
“I had a saying, ‘You don’t get married because you want to live with someone, you get married because you can’t live without them.’ I felt that way. I knew that I was really unhappy without her. I waited to propose because I thought I was too old for her.”
Considering he’s been married twice before, we’re assuming he knows the drill.
But Miz Roberts doesn’t let their nearly 30-year age gap affect their relationship:
“I don’t worry about it. I don’t want to miss out on being with someone I love because of what might happen down the line.”
And so when the moment finally came, she of course said yes (after realizing he wasn’t kidding):
“I thought he was just joking around at first. He’s asked me before, but it was never for real. Then he pulled out the ring. I cried so hard that he didn’t get around to actually asking, ‘Will you marry me?’ until about ten minutes later.”
Aww!
