Dawn Richard claims she wasn’t the only celeb who’s witnessed Diddy beat Cassie in the past… This is dark.
The former Danity Kane member kicked off Week 2 of Diddy’s sex trafficking trial in New York on Monday with a bombshell testimony. If you didn’t hear about it, she doubled down on claims from her September lawsuit that she saw Diddy beating up Cassie on multiple occasions. But she also named others who’ve allegedly witnessed the abuse.
According to multiple outlets, Dawn recounted on the stand an incident in 2010 when she met the Bad Boy Records founder and Cassie at an LA restaurant. She recalled Usher, Ne-Yo, former Beats CEO Jimmy Iovine, and “other celebrities” were also in attendance. And it was here, in front of all these celebrities, she claimed Diddy punched Cassie in the stomach — so hard it caused her to double over:
“She immediately bent over, he [Combs] told her to leave.”

And according to Dawn, nobody moved a muscle. She testified:
“No one intervened.”
Damn. Really? Diddy was that powerful, that scary? And everyone around him was that cowardly?
Dawn went on to testify that she left the restaurant with the former couple and when they got in a car, Cassie expressed that she was “embarrassed” by her boyfriend’s behavior… And things got ugly from there:
“He grabbed her by the neck and popped her, slapped her in the mouth.”
Dawn added that Diddy told his then-23-year-old girlfriend to “shut the f**k up.” The Damaged singer added:
“He would tell her he owned her. I told her he should leave. Cass looked torn. She would listen, but I could see the fear.”
How awful… Cassie was put through so much.
