The Deep-Fried Twinkie Burger!!!
Cardiologists everywhere just shuddered.
OMG, thank goodness the Twinkie was rescued from extinction earlier this year because otherwise this masterful morsel would have never been possible!
The burger is being offered at PYT Burger and Bar, right in the heart of Philadelphia. Restaurant co-owner Sarah Brown discussed all that goes in to this new high-stacked sandwich! She explained:
“It’s a really cool combination of salty and sweet. It’s surprisingly very good. It is very rich, though.”
It must be! The burger is made up of a blend of beef and pork belly, topped with American cheese and applewood smoked bacon. All of that is then delicately laid in-between two deep-fried twinkles, which have been coated in funnel cake batter and cooked until they’re golden brown!
Drooooool!!!!
This is tough – what looks more delicious??? This new Twinkie Burger or the delectable Ramen Burger?
