She might just be being Miley Cyrus, but everyone is watching!
And that includes her young fans who are most likely picking up on her twerking and tonguing antics.
Demi Lovato knows a thing or two about being watched by the public especially during her downward spiral that led to a stint in rehab.
And now she’s speaking out to Entertainment Weekly about how she justified her wild child antics by telling herself she didn’t have to be anyone’s role model, much like many half-nekkid pic lovin’ little ladies and lads do these days.
She explained:
“I used to say that too. That was my excuse to do whatever the f–k I wanted and not give a sh-t about what other people thought. Then I ended up going through some stuff. I realized I’m never going to escape the fact that I’m in the public eye, so I might as well do the best I can.”
We’re not sure if she was throwing shade at Mileybird or other raunchy pot supporting celebs like Rihanna, but it feels a lil’ bit shady here!
But then again, since Demi is trying to be a great role model, she’s probably just being honest.
And that’s why we love her!
