Demi Lovato was hospitalized after an apparent drug overdose on Tuesday.
Thankfully, her friends reportedly treated her with Narcan and contacted first responders with the quickness; otherwise this could have been much worse.

Though she’s getting better, and by all accounts she’s going to make a full recovery, an insider is giving us an important caution.
Along with the latest health update to People on Thursday, the source explains:
“She is doing okay, but is still being monitored.”
Though the source says Demi has been declared “safe” to leave the hospital, it’s
“An overdose is something very serious and can cause organ failure. It’s important for her to make sure her body is recovering.”
Assuming she will be fine, this source says the OD may actually have been the best thing for her.
“Sometimes this situation is the best possible. And most people using drugs are very confident they will never overdose. It’s easy to continue abusing when you can shrug your shoulders and tell yourself you have everything under control.
After an overdose, you can’t claim this anymore. You had an overdose and there is no way to dismiss it. An overdose might need to happen for someone to understand that they REALLY need help.”
That’s more optimistic than some insiders who are afraid she won’t even seek help.
Do YOU think this will be Demi’s wakeup call??
