Guilherme Vasconcelos has sadly passed away.
The Brazilian MMA fighter known as Bomba died just hours after his final Story post to Instagram. The cause is currently unknown, but the jiu-jitsu pro was apparently outside of his studio, leading many to believe his passing was totally unexpected. His family confirmed this, as well, when his uncle posted to social media:
“We were looking forward to your visit for Christmas, which will no longer happen. Life is fleeting, and we woke up to this devastating news. What a time we live in. We pray for you! May God, who can do all things, welcome you in His infinite mercy and comfort all who have always loved you!”
So sad…

If you’re not an MMA fan but think his name sounds familiar, you probably remember him from his short-lived romance with Demi Lovato. Way back in 2017 the pair were spotted together for the first time on New Year’s Eve. They wouldn’t stay in this relationship very long, however, as by May of that year it was reported they’d gone their separate ways. The ending of their relationship didn’t seem to be messy, though. At the time, sources said their romance had just run its course.

Bomba passed away in El Lay, according to Brazilian media, and leaves behind a one year old daughter whom he shares with model Kayla Lauren. He was only 38 years old.
Our heart goes out to Guilherme’s family and loved ones. May he rest in peace.
