It’s been one year since Demi Lovato tragically lost her pup Buddy!
In case you don’t remember, the songstress’ sweet dog was tragically killed by a coyote last July.

And on Tuesday, DemDem paid tribute to the little guy, taking to Twitter with a heartbreaking message. She wrote:
RIP to my baby boy Buddy. You will forever be my baby angel. I miss you so much.. Wish Batman could’ve met his big brother. ├░┼╕Γäó┬Å├░┼╕┬Å┬╝├░┼╕ΓÇÖΓÇ¥

So sad!!
It was pretty obvious the 23-year-old was having a hard time with his passing as she continued to publicly grieve, and only a month later she decided to celebrate her birthday with a new dog, Batman.
Demi also paid tribute to the white maltipoo on Snapchat, sharing an old pic of her little angel (below):

It’s never easy losing a pet, but we hope the starlet gives Batman an extra big hug today!
