Demi Lovato knew she was taking hard drugs the night she overdosed, according to the man who supplied her with “after market pills.”
Brandon Johnson told TMZ that the superstar texted him at 4 a.m. the morning she OD’d and asked him to come over, which he took to mean come over and bring pills. He did, and the two freebased together.

Johnson strongly implied that the two did drugs together many times before and even had a sexual relationship — however other Demi sources strongly deny things ever became romantic between the two.
Anyway, Johnson says Demi knew the pills he gave her that night were much stronger than pharmaceuticals. He admitted to getting the pills from Mexico, but denied knowing they were laced with fentanyl.
Johnson said Demi was sleeping with no sign of a distress when he left her place around 7 or 8 a.m.. An assistant found the Sober singer around 11:30 a.m. and called 911.

As we reported, the 26-year-old’s overdose was likely triggered by Oxycodone laced with fentanyl from Johnson’s batch. Demi’s friends have told press they knew Johnson was “bad news” and will do everything they can to keep him away from her.
Back in March, one month before he allegedly linked up with the former Disney darling, Johnson was arrested for possession of guns, drugs and ammo. He was also arrested in June and charged with DUI and possession of cocaine.
Demi is currently in an out-of-state rehab facility seeking long term treatment.
