Demi Lovato‘s peers were quick to send her love after news of the songstress’s alleged drug overdose broke.
Two of the most heartwarming of these messages came from a couple of people who have personally known Demi for years: Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande‘s moms.
On Tuesday, Mandy Teefey shared a throwback photo of Selena and Demi on Instagram taken at her daughter’s sweet 16, writing that her “heart hurts” from the news of the Sober singer’s hospitalization.

Meanwhile, Ari’s mom Joan took to Twitter to share a lengthy message of support to the 25-year-old, in which she revealed how supportive the former Disney darling has always been to her children — particularly her son, Frankie Grande, “during his work with sobriety.”
