Someone “weed” like to see in the role!
As Demi Moore is currently seeking treatment for substance abuse seizures “exhaustion,” she no longer is available to star as Gloria Steinem in the biopic of Linda Lovelace, which is shooting now. The Lovelace crew were forced to recast the role and announced today that Mary Louise Parker will be stepping in.
While the part is small, it is also a vital role in the flick and opportunity that a lot of people were eager to see Demi flourish in. However, we can’t say that Mary Louise isn’t a top-notch second choice. In fact, if her work on Weeds is any indication, she’s definitely got the gumption to pull this part off.
Congrats on the upgrade, Mary!
