There’s a new Disney teen star in the making, and her name is Demi Lovato.
Demi, 15, is appearing in the upcoming Disney movie Camp Rock, starring alongside the Jonas Brothers.

She’s getting her own show on the Disney channel!
The program will be called Welcome to Mollywood.
So could she be the next Hilary Duff, Raven Simone, or Miley Cyrus?
Perhaps. Lovato is also an actor, a singer and she can dance as well.
The series will center on Molly, a 15 year-old from a small town who wins a role on a teen comedy TV show after competing on a nationwide search.
So it’ll be like a show within a show. How reflexive!
Lovato also has a recording contract with Disney’s Hollywood Records. Oh yea, and she’s also set to go on tour with the Jonas Bros this summer.
Gary Marsh, president of entertainment at Disney Channels Worldwide, says, “This series is rooted in one of the core thematic attributes that we stand for, which is following your dream. There also was the opportunity to do a hybrid show.”
