Detective Katherine Frank was the first witness to take the stand in Howard K. Stern‘s trial in the Anna Nicole Smith drug conspiracy case.
Det. Frank said drug bottles, a duffel bag filled with over $8,000 and Howard K. Stern were in the hotel room when Anna Nicole’s body was found.
She added:
“He was visibly shaken with reddened eyes, tears and trembling.”
Stern’s lawyer Steve Sadow questioned Frank because he is saying that Stern was in love with Anna Nicole and everything he did was trying to help her.
Sadow also asked pharmacist Olga Kopetman, who identified multiple prescriptions prescribed by other defendant Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, if a patient could build a tolerance to drugs.
Kopetman responded that it was possible and that a patient would need larger doses of the drug for it to be effective.
We still don’t think Stern was looking out for Anna at all!
What a mess!
