Dior Musical In The Works

Just about everything is turning into a musical!

Like Alain Chamfort‘s rock album turned stage musical about Yves St. Laurent, Malcolm McLaren is also working on a musical based on Christian Dior.

All McLaren would say to Paper Magazine about the project is it “has stayed in my heart for a long time. And as I struggle with it, and will it into production, I believe it will emerge triumphant.”

Innerestingly enough Malcolm has approached Disney to produce the musical. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if they’ll jump on the designer bandwagon.
