Dita Von Teese Models World's First 3D-Printed Dress!

We may not have hover cars yet, but fashion is definitely taking us closer and closer to the future!
Hussein Chalayan blew our mind with his magically transforming dresses a few days ago, and now designer Michael Schmidt has created the world’s first completely 3D-printed gown!
Modeled by ageless hottie Dita Von Teese, the striking number was designed by Schmidt using digital rendering technology and printed by Shapeways, a 3D printing company, from a fabric-like substance called powdered nylon. Afterwards, the original gown was polished, painted black, and studded with 12,000 black Swarovski crystals.
That’s RIDIC!
Dita and the designer debuted the remarkable creation at the Ace Hotel in NYC on Monday, and we can only imagine how jaw-droppingly stunning it looks in person, especially on the queen of burlesque!
She really can look good in everything!
