If you watched the CMA Awards earlier this week, then we’re SURE you know Beyonc├â┬⌐ SLAYED her performance of Daddy Lessons with the Dixie Chicks!
After the collaboration performance though, there was a bit of commotion online as the ladies’ performance was NOWHERE to be seen on the CMA Awards website!

Allegedly, the awards show posted something about Bey and the Chicks on their site and it immediately received a TON of racist comments, so they took it down. Yeah, cause that’s the way you get rid of racism, just sweep it under the rug. UGH!
We’re sure you can imagine there was a lot of uproar from the BeyHive, but the country singing ladies had a bit to say about the whole issue to as they took to Twitter to share:
If we all turn this up really loud, together we can drown out the hate. https://t.co/PWJcDeNmuR

The girls also HIGHlariously retweeted the PERFECT GIF with a bit of a NSFW message that says:
@dixiechicks Ain’t nobody got time for shitty haters, my time is too precious and I do prefer spend it listening to this masterpiece. ├ó┬¥┬ñ pic.twitter.com/1YxaL6EJya

Even though one of the women, Martie Maguire, stayed silent on her personal Twitter account, the two other songstresses, Natalie Maines and Emily Robison, both shared their thoughts about the Beyonc├â┬⌐ of it all! Emily kept things pretty calm and didn’t address the controversy as she tweeted:
Still in awe of “Bey”. Beautiful inside and out. True talent!! Honor to play along side her. #DixieChicks #Beyonce #CMAawards50 pic.twitter.com/d6gKZzrWOG
— Emily Strayer (@EmilyRobison) November 4, 2016
However, Natalie dove into the controversy head first as she wrote:
Hey everybody! The CMA’s just called and asked us to co-host next year’s show with Beyonc├â┬⌐.Unfortunately I’ve got a thing that night so, no.
— Natalie Maines (@1NatalieMaines) November 3, 2016
What’s even better is the singer then used lyrics from Beyonc├â┬⌐’s Formation:
“You know you dat Bitch when you cause all this conversation. Always stay gracious best revenge is your paper.” #Bey #Slay

- YAAAS!
We still have yet to hear from the Queen, but we can’t WAIT to get her thoughts on the whole controversy!
What do you think about the way the CMA has handled the situation??
