Wowzers, talk about putting the world’s premier social network to good use!
After being separated from her family for four years, a dog, Topaz has been reunited with her family!
We love happy endings!
Diane Stess-Kirschner, of Tamarac, FL, met Topaz when she found the dog wandering alone outside her home. Topaz was pretty thin and pretty grungy when Diane found her. Doing some research, Diane found that Topaz was microchipped and belonged to Glen and Casaundra Greenfelder.
Diane’s attempts to contact the Greenfelders failed, until she thought to look them on up facebook. Finding two profiles that fit the name, she posted on each about finding a small blonde dog.
The Greenfelders – Glen, Casaundra, and their children, Jordan and Makenna hadn’t seen their dog in four years. Before relocating from Tampa to Sacramento, the family had placed Topaz in what they believed was a good, caring home. Somehow, the pooch had wandered her way 200 miles across Florida from Tampa to Tamarac.
That’s a hella long journey! Especially for a dog to do on it’s own!
Diane knew she had found the right family when they called and referred to Topaz using her name.
Cleaning her up and having her professionally groomed, Diane placed Topaz in a crate and shipped her to her awaiting family.
Aww – that is so heartwarming! We’re glad the family was reunited with their pet!
We couldn’t imagine being without Teddy!
Could U imagine going through this!?
