Dog The Bounty Hunter’s Daughters Are Defending His New Relationship!

dog the bounty hunter daughter defends new relationship

Dog The Bounty Hunter has found new love, and his daughters are happy for him — no matter what the haters say!

The reality star has experienced some turbulent times following the untimely passing of his beloved wife Beth Chapman, including a robbery, a pulmonary embolism, and a questionable on-air marriage proposal. Ten months after Beth’s death, the reality star seems to have settled down with a new lady love, and his daughters couldn’t be more supportive.

Duane’s new girlfriend, Francie Frane, posted a photo of the couple on Instagram over the weekend with the caption:

So excited for this new chapter! ❤️”

Awwww…

Dog’s daughter Lyssa Chapman reposted the pic to her own page, writing:

“How cute are these two ?! ❤️”

Some fans didn’t share the love, however. Plenty of comments came in to her regram criticizing the 67-year-old for moving on too quickly after his wife’s death. In response, Beth and Duane’s daughter Bonnie Chapman — who has come to his defense before — left her own scathing comment:

“Everyone who’s judging my father should sure pray that they never have to lose their loved one and get judged for trying to fill the void. Your opinion is invalid. My mother would’ve wanted him to be happy. Now please shut up and let my dad live in peace.”

Oh snap!

Meanwhile, the former bail bondsman is staying out of Internet drama and probably basking in the glow of new love. In fact, despite swearing he’d never marry again after Beth’s death, Dog told The Sun that Francie may end up being “the last Mrs. Chapman” after all!

He told the mag:

“It’s going really good. It’s a God relationship because it’s just like a miracle. It’s a miracle how we met and it’s a miracle how great we’re getting along.”

According to The Sun, the couple met through Francie’s late husband Bob, who did yard work for Dog. Bob also tragically passed away from cancer around the same time Dog lost Beth.

Duane explained how sharing their grief has bonded the pair, saying:

“It’s a very real love that we are developing with each other. Both of us are allowed to talk about our spouses that are in Heaven – it’s not like we’re afraid to mention it or anything like that. We console each other but we also know that we have a responsibility and that is to do this right. There are a lot of people watching us. But throughout the coronavirus which is affecting us all right now, love is prevailing. And that’s how we feel. … We’re taking this day by day, step by step – big steps come in pairs, little steps come in bunches. So that’s how we’re handling it and how we’re doing it.”

After facing criticism from the public and his own family for his relationship with Moon Angell, Dog is probably relieved his daughters are supportive of his new relationship. In fact, he says “every single one of the kids and grandkids” is on board this time around.

Hey, they seem like a really sweet couple — we approve, too!
