Guess congratulations are in order for Dog The Bounty Hunter.

As you’ll recall, his wife Beth Chapman tragically lost her battle with lung cancer in June 2019, and much to the surprise of many, he began dating not long after, and is now engaged!

Despite getting together as recently as two months ago, Francie Frane is apparently the one! The newly engaged couple shared the happy news with The Sun, with his new fiancée sharing the details behind the proposal:

“I think I had gone to pick up some food and then when I came back he had all the lights turned down with just a few lights on and a bunch of candles lit. So I put all the food in the kitchen and I came in and he said, ‘I know that God brought you into my life and I don’t want to spend one moment of it without you.’ … And he got down on one knee and he opened the ring box and he said, ‘Will you marry me and spend the rest of our lives together?'”

She added of the romantic gesture:

“Who can say no to that? It was wonderful.”

Of course, Francie showed off her large engagement ring (see the pics HERE) and noted the reality star had been painting her nails while in quarantine.

Chapman added his dream is to have a huge wedding with family (he is the father of 12 children and has 11 grandchildren), friends, and possibly fans, once it’s safe to do so, promising it would be “one hell of a party.”

He explained:

“I’ve had so many fans ask ‘When you marry Francie, are you going to let your fans come?’ So we’re word negotiating right now because I want to open it up. I would love to have the biggest wedding there’s ever been.”

The 67-year-old acknowledged he is aware not all his followers will be rejoicing at this news, especially after promising Beth he would not remarry. But he doesn’t seem to care much:

“There’s always going to be haters, and I probably arrested half of them.”

Frane even quipped:

“The truth is that both of us have spent three years walking alongside our spouses sick and we know that God brought us together and that’s why we don’t believe that it’s too soon.”

For those not familiar with their whirlwind love story, Duane connected with Francie after leaving a message for her husband, asking him to do work on his property. Little did he know, her husband had passed away six months prior to Beth. Shortly following, she called Dog back to explain, and they became friends before starting to date in March.

Hopefully all the kids are giving the couple their blessings!
