New Study Says Dogs Can Smell Cancer

cancer finding dog

WTF? This is awesome!

We knew that at least one dog could smell breast cancer, but according to a new study most dogs can detect lung cancer!!

Dogs could smell lung cancer in 71% of those effected. Since lung cancer is the most common form of cancer world wide this could certainly come in handy.

Lead researcher Thorsten Walles explained:

“In the breath of patients with lung cancer, there are likely to be different chemicals to normal breath samples and the dogs’ keen sense of smell can detect this difference at an early stage of the disease.”

That’s cra cra!

We hope all the dogs trained to smell cancer have to wear Doctor scrubs as a uniform or lab coats as a uniform.
