Dolly Parton made a beautiful tribute to her late husband, Carl Dean.

The country singer’s spouse sadly passed away at 82 earlier this week, and since then she’s been remembering him in the most touching ways, so it’s no surprise a song would come next. On Instagram Friday, the 79-year-old announced she has a new track If You Hadn’t Been There, which she dedicated to Carl. In the post, she wrote:
“I fell in love with Carl Dean when I was 18 years old. We have spent 60 precious and meaningful years together. Like all great love stories, they never end. They live on in memory and song. He will always be the star of my life story, and I dedicate this song to him.”
