Donald Trump continues to flaunt his complete inability to grasp the concept of global warming.
In a Twitter post Monday, the president claimed we “need global warming” to help combat the extreme cold weather conditions currently chilling the Midwest.
This week, a split polar vortex is expected to drop temperatures in the Midwest near negative 30 degrees, with the wind chill looking to be the lowest it’s been in two decades: as low as negative 60 degrees. According to nearly every scientist, these extreme weather conditions are an effect of global climate change.

But Donny, bless his clogged heart, apparently still thinks global warming only leads to hot temperatures — and by that logic, would actually help us battle an extremely cold winter. He tweeted:
In the beautiful Midwest, windchill temperatures are reaching minus 60 degrees, the coldest ever recorded. In coming days, expected to get even colder. People can’t last outside even for minutes. What the hell is going on with Global Waming? Please come back fast, we need you!

Smh. Why is it that most third graders can comprehend global warming, but the president talks about it like it’s a character on Sesame Street?
While many responders were quick to school the Yeti in Chief on how harsher winters actually support the global warming theory, countless MAGA folk laughed along with him.
Just think… when the next probably-global-warming-induced ice age does come, everyone’s last words before freezing to death will be: “I told you so!”
