Dua Lipa and Callum Turner had the most romantic, low-key wedding day!
ICYMI, the pop star and her actor husband officially tied the knot in a VERY small ceremony in London over the weekend! The 30-year-old looked gorgeous in her vintage-inspired Schiaparelli bridal fit walking out of Old Marylebone Town Hall arm-in-arm with Callum. And now we’re getting more insight into their civil ceremony!
According to a source for The US Sun on Sunday, Callum couldn’t hold back his feelings while marrying his bride. While in the registry office, he was said to have gotten extremely emotional:
“He was in tears and shaky.”

The ceremony was THE definition of a micro wedding. Sources say only eight people were attendance in total, including Dua’s parents Dugi and Anesa, her sister Rina, and her brother Gjin. After Dua and Callum left the office, their getaway car was a simple black cab. Surprisingly, the ceremony didn’t cause much of an uproar from passersby at all!

One onlooker told the outlet:
“I just thought it was another wedding.”
While a worker at the town hall said:
“It all happened very fast. In and out, job done.”
After the celebrations, Dua and Callum went to dinner with their loved ones, capping off the perfect day. Another insider said:
“Dua and Callum said their vows in a ceremony with their closest family and friends. Last night they had a quiet celebration dinner. It was chic and simple — exactly as Dua and Callum wanted. Dua’s dad and manager Dugi is a massive Arsenal fan so there were a few jokes made about the timing, as the Premier League victory parade was happening at the same time not far away. Both him and Dua’s [mom] Anesa were beaming with pride.”
And, of course, this is only the beginning of their celebrations! The source added:
“The celebration was relatively low-key as they fly to Sicily this week for their second, big wedding.”
Fun! Another insider gave even more details, gushing about the upcoming A-list-packed party:
“Dua and Callum have put together the most incredible itinerary for their celebrations in Sicily. The last-minute preparations have been hectic — and she’s been back and forth to Italy for dress fittings — but it’s all coming together perfectly. They’ve rented multiple huge venues for the multi-event extravaganza.”

As for now, People reports that Dua “couldn’t be happier” with how everything is going. A source told the outlet on Monday:
“The London ceremony was exactly what they wanted. It was intimate and meaningful, and they were surrounded by loved ones. They had a small celebration after the ceremony and are so excited for what’s still to come. They get to enjoy the best of both worlds. A private moment together and a larger celebration with family and friends in Italy.”
