Our favorite red head, Ed Sheeran, weighed in on the booty shakin’ dance move that’s sweeping the country (or at least the VMA stage).

The ginger singer doesn’t like twerking. In a recent interview, he ‘fessed up to the fact that he thinks it resembles a different sort of dance move:
“I think encouraging young people to twerk might be a bad thing. It├óΓé¼Γäós a stripper├óΓé¼Γäós move. If I had a daughter of nine, I wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót want her twerking.”
We guess this also confirms Ed has some intimate knowledge of strippers’ dance moves, too! JK…but maybe not!
As for Mileybird, Ed made it clear that he think she needs a little rebranding (and not the branding of “Rolling $tone” on her feet):
“I just think she├óΓé¼Γäós packaged the wrong way. When I first heard Wrecking Ball, I thought it was a brilliant song, but the video distracts too much from it.”
Hmm we guess licking sledgehammers, riding huge balls naked, and dance-humping is not everyone’s cup o’ tea!
