Poor thing! Get him some ginger ale, STAT!
While Eddie Redmayne appeared to be in good spirits at the BAFTA Awards in London today, his spirit couldn’t compete with a sudden and abrupt case of the tummy rumbles.
Eddie was slated to present an award with Lincoln’s Sally Field but was forced to pull out at the last minute. When Sally took to the stage, she confirmed the sad news, saying:
“He is puking his guts out backstage.”
Aww! Poor baby! But he’s done this before, he couldn’t have POSSIBLY been nervous! No, no. Turns out, according to a source:
“Eddie has bad food poisoning. It was a difficult for him to make it here today but he did his best. After doing the carpet he felt really sick again.”
What a trooper! Being so sick like that and still going to a major event, only to then lose your cool in front of Sally Field!
Super sad! We just hope he’s home now, the worst of it over, in bed, sleeping it off!
